Transfer news January window 2012 #mufc

The transfer window is open again and while everyone expects Citeh and Chelski to get their oil money out Manchester United fans have been hoping that we might sign at least a midfielder.  Injuries to Tom Cleverley and Anderson mean that last seasons grumblings have started all over again.

Calls for a top class midfielder could be heard and well, what do ya know; we signed one.  Fergie has managed to sign one of the best midfielders of the last 10 years, a player who has the most impressive passing range of (in my opinion) anyone on the planet.

He has signed my favourite player, the one and only Paul Scholes.   Not who everyone was hoping for but I feel he was our best player for the first 10-15 games of last season and that he retired too soon.  I am so glad that I get to see him play again and I was over-the-moon when the announcement was made on Derby day.

I hope he can stay fit and get his fitness back quickly so that he can continue to help us out in this injury crisis.  It's comforting for me to think that he is in and around young Tom Cleverley and Pogba during training as they are now once again, learning from the best.

Here's how the weeks' tranfer stories have broken according to Skysportsnews in reverse chronological order.

MUTV - Sky Virgin Media or Internet Broadband

I've been watching a load of MUTV lately, there is tons of exclusive footage from behind the scenes.  There really is no other way of gaining access to so much exclusive content. So I thought I'd make a quick post showing you how to get access.

MUTV is the official television channel for Manchester United, broadcasting seven days a week on Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com), Sky (www.sky.co.uk) and online.
The channel shows replays of all Manchester United matches and full game analysis, as well as live reserve team matches, fan phone-ins, exclusive interviews with players and management, and the aptly-named Talk of the Devils chat show.
And with everything filmed in a studio at Man Utd’s home ground, Old Trafford, footy fans will get all the latest news, when it happens, straight from the pitch. Red Devils fans should subscribe to MUTV today to get the low-down on their favourite football club.

How can I watch Man Utd TV?

You can watch Manchester United’s TV channel via satellite TV on Sky (www.sky.co.uk), or if you have a cable TV service from Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com). You can also get an online subscription, and can watch the channel live over your broadband on your computer. Details on how to subscribe are below:

What else is shown on Man Utd TV?

As well as all the latest Man U news, subscribers to the MUTV channel can watch pre-match build-up and post-match commentaries for all first team games, and replays of all of Manchester United’s Premier League, Champions League, FA and Carling Cup games. Matches will not be shown live due to broadcasting rights.
You can watch exclusive interviews with the team, as well as programmes recorded at the MUTV studios inside Old Trafford and the Trafford training centre, made especially for the channel. Weekly chat shows with Paddy Crerand and Denis Irwin also feature other United legends past and present.
And you can watch the future stars of United in full live match coverage of the reserves in the FA Premier Reserve league. You can also follow the fortunes and training of the latest crop of talented youngsters in the United Academy.
Bringing you closer to the players, management and the pitch at one of the world’s greatest football clubs, MUTV offers Man U fans much more than just the match.
