Arsenal have been struggling all season and were battered 8-2 in a game where nobody could have predicted the crushing scoreline. Anyone betting on that one would have got some tidy odds indeed.
One of my pals has gone for the double bet of Manchester United vs Arsenal, betting that United win. Doubled up with an away win bet on Tottenham Hotspur. He's betting that Spurs will defeat Manchester City at The Etihad Stadium. Spurs are 3/1 for the away win and United are priced at 13/8.
Another freind of mine has added The Masters snooker betting to the mix to bump his odds up to around 100/1. Needless to say; the drinks will be on him if all goes his way!
I think the injuries that Arsenal are suffering from have given the gamblers from Manchester some extra confidence in betting on United. Arsenal have as many players as United in the physio room. It's shocking really:- between the two teams and all their injured players there is a squad capable of finishing at the top end of the premiership table! They could be called Crocked Athletic Football Club.
Here's the full list of injured players as of this week, for those of you who like to do your betting from a statistical viewpoint.

I am not convinced that Tottenham are capable of beating Manchester City and I won't be betting on those Premiership teams on Sunday. Although Spurs have been in great form they don't have a fully fit squad to chose from, therefore I think City will scrape the win. This is undoubtedly a better time to play City than any other period this year. Since the start of the season this is the weakest they have been.
The Torre brothers are away at the African cup of nations and they have injuries to Silva, Balotelli and Richards as well as the suspened Kompany making this the smallest squad Mancini has had to pick from all year. I'm sure Manchester City betting will still be strong as they remain the odds favourite for this game.
